Real City Realty Inc., Brokerage ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This notice explains what we collect when you book a showing and how we use it, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- The property and showing time you booked, and any notes you choose to add.
- Records that you accepted this notice, and the emails we send you about your booking.
How we use it
- To confirm, remind you about, reschedule or cancel your showing, and to send the rental application or buyer information you asked for.
- To let our agents contact you about the property you viewed and to follow up on your interest.
- To understand how many people book showings, so we can run our business.
By ticking the box when you book, you consent to being contacted by us for these purposes. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
Who sees it
We do not sell your personal information. It is visible to the Real City Realty agents who run your showing, and to service providers that help us operate (for example, our hosting, database and email delivery providers), who are required to protect it. Some of these providers may store data outside Canada, where it may be subject to the laws of that country. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and contact records for as long as needed for the purposes above and for our legal and record-keeping obligations, then delete or anonymize them.
Your choices
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to stop contacting you, by contacting us below.
